Haydn
The AI tool for writers, bloggers, and journalists that makes you a better writer than yourself.
A powerful AI-based writing assistant app that goes beyond conventional grammar and spell-check functionalities.
Problem Space
In today's dynamic and fast-paced digital landscape, individuals and professionals face significant challenges in optimizing their writing efficiency, coherence, and overall quality. The absence of an intelligent writing assistant hampers users' ability to articulate ideas effectively, meet various writing standards, and maintain a consistent tone across diverse content types.
Busy professionals ages 21-55 in North America need an AI writing assistant that helps make their day to day writing needs easier so that they have more free time for other activities.
User Persona!
To form a deeper understanding of our users' goals, pain points and needs, I created the following persona that acted as a guide throughout the design process. The data was based on given user interviews, and I kept updating it throughout the project as I gathered more data. I used the persona whenever I needed to reflect back and reconsider initial ideas.
Visual Identity
The goal was to create a visual identity that’s aligned with the brand’s existing values and message.
I incorporated a colorful palette because I wanted the experience to be fun and playful for users so they can feel uplifted while working on their writing projects.
I followed the Material Design guidelines and kept a simple and minimal design style.
Initial Wireframes
I was presented with these initial mid-fidelity wireframes for the Haydn app. I identified usability errors in the wireframes before creating a set of new wireframes.
